The song also fits my life. As I have developed my research, I, too have faced seemingly insurmountable obstacles. I am, however, passionately committed to developing my work. My research will affect millions of lives. Please allow me to explain.
I am a researcher in Multiple Sclerosis and in August of 2005, I identified the gene, vector and environmental trigger that cause this insidious disease. My discovery is the culmination of twelve years of interdisciplinary research that I began when I was reading Russian and Linguistics at Oxford University. After two years of examination of my discovery, I published an article both here in the US and in Europe. I am now in the process of writing a book that explains my research in more detail for the non-scientist.
I have faced extreme difficulties on getting my research developed because I do not want my work to become yet another pill on which sufferers become dependent. Using my research, people with MS can heal themselves. My research teaches people how to compensate for the mutated gene that they posses by (1) rebuilding healthy myelin protein, (2) cleansing the environmental trigger from their bodies and from their physical environment , and (3) protecting future generations of those with the genetic mutation from developing MS.
I was up late last night writing and listening to National Public Radio, and I heard your interview. I became excited by the possibility that you may invest in self- published books. Do you?
